The Gideons International, founded in 1899, serves as an extended missionary arm of the church and is the oldest association of Christian businessmen and professional men in the United States of America.

PURPOSE: To place a copy of God's Word and present the plan of salvation to everyone. Bibles are available in 80 different languages and dialects.

VOLUNTEERS: Christian business and professional men age 21 & older who adhere to the basic spiritual beliefs held by Gideons are eligible to join. Some examples of members' responsibility are distribution of scripture and prayer.
