Route28 Student Ministries

At Route28 Student ministries, we want to CONNECT students with peers, adults, and God, help them to GROW their faith in Christ, and LIVE out that faith in their everyday lives.

Matthew 28:19-20 says "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

We believe that, in these verses, Jesus is calling us to a lifestyle, at Route28 Student Ministries, we call that the 28Lifestyle.

There are several ways that we Connect, Grow, and Live through R28 Ministries.  Between our regular meetings, special events, and overnight camps and retreats, there is something for everyone!

How can you serve?!

Are you an adult that wants to get involved but don't feel like your "role" is on a weekly basis?  We have a spot for YOU!

We are always looking for people to help with transportation or supervision for our many events and SO much more!  Click the link below and submit your form to learn more!

If you'd like to explore what it would look like to serve in more of a hands-on role such as teaching in a discipleship community or as a youth leader, click on the "Get Involved" tab at the top of the page to learn more!

We are route28!

Route28 isn't just a place where students go on Sunday evenings to hang out with friends and listen to a short biblical message.  We are a community of students and adults across the Mid-Michigan region who want to make God known in our communities.  We love Jesus.  We love music.  We play video games.  We go to concerts.  We go camping.  We go lake tubing.  We play paintball and laser tag. We love our neighbors and we want YOUR students to get involved in our ministry!

Connect28 is our weekly youth group meetings.  We meet in the RouteHub on Sunday evenings.  During these meetings, we hang out with friends, play lots of games, listen to lots of music, and spend some time learning from God's word together.  For both locations, our middle school students meet from 5:00pm-6:30pm (doors open at 4:45pm) and our high school students meet from 7:00pm-8:30pm (doors open at 6:45).

Sunday School classes are on Sunday Mornings at 10:00am.  These classes are split up by grade (5th/6th, 7th/8th, 9th/10th, 11th/12th).  In these classes, our middle school students learn about faith formation (5th/6th grade) and bible knowledge (7th/8th) while our high school students learn about biblical living (9th/10th) and apologetics (11th/12th).

The 28Lifestyle isn't just something we do at church.  It's something we do every single day.  In Matthew 28, Jesus commands his disciples to go and make disciples and obey his teachings.  Those two commands aren't two separate can't make disciples without obeying his teachings, and you can't obey his teachings without making disciples.  This isn't something we do, it's something we LIVE!

Connect28.  Grow28.  Live28.

We are the 28Lifestyle.
