Vision
Statement:
The vision of the Provision Division is to become the serving
arm of the body of Christ in order that people will come to
faith in Him.
Mission Statement: The mission is to provide outreach
through meeting practical needs for people who do not attend
church.
The primary goal of the Provision Division is to serve the
needs of those who do not attend church anywhere with no
expectation of return. As a secondary goal they serve the
needs of church attendees with the expectation that they will,
in turn, make themselves available for service. some of the
needs the Provision Division would like to help with include:
accounting, bookkeeping, taxes, budget counseling, balancing
checkbooks, filing, word processing, cleaning, landscaping,
gardening, general repair, auto and small engine repair,
carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating, painting, wall
papering, masonry, roofing, concrete, meals, building and
grounds maintenance, transportation, and snow removal.
Primarily this team provides help not material.
The Provision Division is a great resource we have at Brown
Corners to help us fill the Great Commission. Showing God's
love to a pre-Christian by giving them practical hands on help
is the first step in sharing our Lord with them. The next step
could come from the work crew or you. As we pray for
opportunities to share the gospel God will open the door of
opportunity for you. Be prepared! God will provide the perfect
opportunity to share the good news about Jesus Christ.
You are welcome to join the Provision Division. Meetings are
held monthly during team meeting time which is generally the
first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM at the church. Work crews
are arranged by Tim Merritt. If you know of someone who needs
